The Institution

As a legal entity Fondation pour L’Enfance Terre de Paix is a registered organisation with the Registrar of Association of Mauritius.

Its institutional structure consists of a General Assembly of members, an elected Managing Committee with a two-year mandate and an Advisory Committee.

The advisory committee is a democratic platform for all members to express their view on matters relating to any work or societal issue impacting on the running of the organisation. It tries to bridge the divide between personal life and professional life by enlisting members as well and their families. The work of the advisory committee has been very useful to inform the association in its decision-making processes.

The operational functioning of the organization is led by a director and an assistant-director.

Each service delivery unit is headed by a coordinator and a monthly management committee is held for the smooth running of the programs.
