MQA approved courses

In April 2013 the Mauritius Qualifications Authority issued a three-year ‘Certificate of Registration of Training Institution’ to the Fondation pour l’Enfance, marking a major step forward for our capacity building programme. The three training courses for which we have received approval are:
- Early childhood care, education, development and protection (0-8 years) - Alternative care - Caring for, educating and training the socio-economically vulnerable special needs child.
All three of these part-time courses will be run by a multi-disciplinary team, with proven experience in child care relating to both the relevant contents and the appropriate methodology and approaches. These programmes are intended to develop the professionalism and skills necessary to tackle the problems encountered in both the residential and non-residential fields of our work. The courses will be open to personnel from both Terre de Paix and from other child care related agencies.
